Kang Moo Huh
Kang Moo Huh serves as the Associate Professor at the Department of Polymer Science and Engineering at the Chungnam National University, Republic of Korea. Huh earned his B.S. degree in polymer science and engineering from the Chungnam National University, his M.S. degree in materials science and engineering from the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, and his Ph.D. degree at the School of Materials Science from the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (Japan) in 2002. He completed his postdoctoral researches at the Biomedical Center of Korea Institute of Science and Technology and at the Purdue University, USA, where he participated in the development of superporous hydrogels for biomedical applications and hydrotropic polymer systems for solubilization of poorly soluble drugs. He joined the faculty of Chungnam National University in 2004. His current research works are focused on the design and synthesis of new biofunctional polymers and polymeric nanocarriers, such as polymer bioconjugates, polymer micelles, polymersomes, and polysaccharide-based thermogels for efficient delivery of various drugs and cells.
