Jose Emilio Vila Forcen

J. E. Vila-Forcén received the Telecommunications
Engineer degree from the Carlos
III University of Madrid, Spain, in 2001. In
20012002, he joined the Signal Theory and
Communications Department of the Carlos
III University, working in the development
of the MPEG4 standard. Since 2002,
he has been an Assistant Professor and a
Ph.D. student at the Stochastic Image Processing
Group, Computer Vision and Multimedia
Lab, Department of Computer Science of the University
of Geneva, Geneva, Switzerland. His current research interests are
the information-theoretic aspects of digital data hiding, communications
with side information, and stochastic image modeling for
compression.
