Jürgen M. Lobert

Jürgen M. Lobert is the Director of the Analytical Services Laboratory within the CCS Division at Entegris, Inc. and was the Business Group Manager of metrology at Extraction Systems Inc., Franklin, MA, USA (before its merger with Entegris, Billerica, MA, USA), a manufacturer of chemical filters and provider of services for the semiconductor industry. Prior to 2003, Lobert was the Chief Scientist at API, an OEM for trace gas analyzers, where he developed the NOx and O3 analyzers. Before that he was an Associate Project Scientist at the Center for Clouds, Chemistry and Climate (C4), Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California at San Diego, La Jolla, CA, USA, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at NOAA/CMDL in Boulder, CO, USA. Born in Germany, he received his Diploma degree in chemistry in 1985 at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Darmstadt, Germany, and his Ph.D. degree in chemistry with focus on atmospheric chemistry in 1990 from the University of Mainz, Mainz, Germany.
