Noritaka Adachi received the M.S. degree in 1991 and the Ph.D. degree in 1994 from the University of Tokyo. He serves currently as a Professor at Yokohama City University, Japan. His current research interests include generation and analysis of human gene knockout cell lines, genetic analysis of repair of DNA damage induced by ionizing radiation and genotoxic anticancer agents, analysis of human genes associated with genetic diseases, and development of high-efficiency gene targeting technology in human cells.
