Ewa Andrzejewska holds M.S.E. and Ph.D. degrees in chemistry as well as a D.S. degree and professorship. Andrzejewska currently works as a Professor at the Institute of Chemical Technology and Engineering, Poznan University of Technology, Poznań, Poland, and the Head of the Polymer Division. His research interests include photopolymerization; polymerization of mono- and multifunctional monomers and resins: kinetic studies and practical applications; investigation of the photoinitiation process; photopolymerization in ionic liquids; ionic liquid-based solid polymer electrolytes as obtained by photopolymerization; preparation of nanocomposites in a light-induced process and their properties, hybrid materials, polymer blends by photopolymerization; and physicochemical properties of monomers investigated by Kerr effect, Raman, and Brillouin light scattering methods. Andrzejewska serves as an adviser of many Ph.D. theses and diploma works for M.S. degree and lectures on various aspects of polymer chemistry as well as application and technology of polymers.
