Guangwei Cong

Guangwei Cong received his Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2006, and currently he is a Research Staff at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Japan, where he has been working since graduation. Cong's fields of interest cover ultrafast all-optical switching techniques, silicon photonics and nanophotonic phenomena, silicon based photonic-electronic integration, and various schemes related to on-chip optical signal manipulation such as high-speed modulators and detectors. He is a Member of the IEEE.
