Hosam Rowaihy received the B.S. degree in computer engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Then, he went to the USA to obtain the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, Md, USA, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science and engineering from the Pennsylvania State University, Penn, USA, where he was also a member of the Networking and Security Research Center. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Computer Engineering Department at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. His research interests include resource management in sensor networks, peer-to-peer networks, and RFID systems. In general, he is interested in research topics related to computer networks and security.
