Serkan Araci was born in Hatay, Turkey, on October 1, 1988. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in mathematics from the University of Gaziantep, Gaziantep, Turkey, in 2010 and 2013, respectively. The title of his M.S. thesis is “Bernstein polynomials and their reflections in analytic number theory,” and for this thesis, he received the Best Thesis Award of 2013. In 2014, he has started his Ph.D. course at University of Gaziantep, Gaziantep, Turkey. Araci has published over than 60 papers in reputed international journals. His research interests include p-adic analysis, theory of analytic numbers, q-series and q-polynomials, p-adic analysis, and theory of umbral calculus. Currently, he works as a Lecturer at Hasan Kalyoncu University, Sahinbey, Turkey. On the other hand, Araci is an Editor and a Referee for several international journals and serves as an Editor-in-Chief in the journals which are Turkish Journal of Analysis and Number Theory, Journal of Analysis & Number Theory, and Journal for Algebra and Number Theory Academia.
