Donna-Marie McCafferty

Donna-Marie MacCafferty received her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, and received her Ph.D. degree from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland. After her postdoctoral training at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Calgary, Canada, from 1996 to 2001, she became an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physiology and Biophysics, Faculty of Medicine, University of Calgary, Canada. Her research focus is on inflammatory bowel diseases and intestinal cancer development. She serves also as a Researcher at CIHR (Canadian Institute of Health Research) in Canada.
