Gary Royle

Gary Royle has 25 years of research experience in medical radiation physics with a particular emphasis on techniques and instrumentation for medical imaging with ionising radiation and radiotherapy. Current interests include proton and X-ray therapy for cancer treatment, X-ray based imaging and analysis methods, and instrumentation for medical imaging and radiotherapy. He has also applied some imaging and analysis techniques to nonclinical problems, for example, nuclear decommissioning, fluid flows, fuel cells, radiation monitoring.
