W. Ensinger

W. Ensinger studied chemistry at Universities of Karlsruhe and Heidelberg. He received his Ph.D. degree from Heidelberg University. He served as a Guest Researcher at Osaka National Research Institute in Japan from 1989 till 1990. Then, He became a Research Assistant at Institute of Applied Physical Chemistry of Heidelberg University and Institute of Solid State Physics at University of Augsburg. In 1994, he was a Lecturer at Institute of Solid State Physics at University of Augsburg and in 1998, he served as a Professor of analytical and nuclear chemistry at University of Marburg. Since 2004, he serves as a Professor of materials analysis at the Technical University of Darmstadt. His research topics are ion beam and plasma modification and characterization of materials.
