Anton M. Jetten
Anton M. Jetten received his Ph.D. degree in microbiology from the University of Nijmegen, The Netherlands. He is currently the Head of the Cell Biology Section and Deputy Chief of the Laboratory of Respiratory Biology at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, National Institutes of Health. He has been a Member of the Editorial Board of Cell Death and Differentiation, and is currently a Member of the Editorial Board of Molecular and Cellular Biology. The research in his laboratory is focusing on the study of retinoid-related orphan receptors (RORs), members of the steroid hormone superfamily, and the Gli-similar (Glis) subfamily of Krüppel-like zinc finger transcription factors, particularly their mechanisms of action, physiological functions, and their roles in disease. He has published more than 220 papers.
