Nicolas Praet is a Doctor in veterinary medicine. He completed his Ph.D. degree in the epidemiology of Taenia solium cysticercosis in 2010. He works as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Tropical Medicine of Antwerp, focusing his research on the epidemiology, burden assessment, and control of zoonotic parasitic diseases.
