Danny Rafferty's back ground is in physics and electronics. Rafferty has worked with the Allied Health Professionals for more than two decades. The prime activity of his work has been taking meaningful measures of human function. Predominately, Rafferty has worked with podiatrists and physiotherapists but has close allegiances with bioengineers. Through working with a number of varied patient groups including stroke, multiple sclerosis, and rheumatoid arthritis, Rafferty has gained an understanding of what is important to the patients. This has enabled him to play an active role in his university’s patient-focused research activity.
