It also activates MEK, p38MAPK, AKT and JNK kinase pathways which initiated the expression of HO-1. The induction of HO-1 will inhibit an inflammation and stimulate cell proliferation, thereby enhancing neovascularization and cell migration that helps to accomplish wound healing.
