Paprika Pigments Attenuate Obesity-Induced Inflammation in 3T3-L1 Adipocytes

Effects of PP on adipocytokine and chemokine mRNA expression in a co-culture of 3T3-L1 adipocyte cells and a RAW264.7 macrophage cells system. RAW264.7 cells were plated onto cultured differentiated 3T3-L1 adipocyte cells. They were treated with medium containing 10 μmol L−1 troglitazone (TR) or 15, 30, and 60 μg mL−1 PP for 24 hr.
