Long-term optical light curve of TV Col [3], where 12 optical flares have been observed so far, five of them on archival plates from the Bamberg Observatory. TV Col is an intermediate polar and the optical counterpart of the X-ray source 2A0526-328. This is the first cataclysmic variable (CV) discovered through its X-ray emission. Recently detected also by INTEGRAL IBIS.
