Schematic of the earthshine telescope optical train. At prime focus during the earthshine exposures, the moonshine blocker translates and rotates to its proper position to shield out the brightside. At the image of the pupil, the edges of the entrance aperture are blocked to reduce stray light. The earthshine camera chip is at the second focus.
