Layout of the 2010+ version of the SES. The fiber connection remains to be based on a 50 m Polymicro fiber and the EFO-Quartz principle. The resolution and wavelength coverage remain, the latter without any gaps due to the larger CCD and new cross-disperser. The overall efficiency shall be increased by a factor of three to 10% (all inclusive) compared to the current SES version.
