Evidence for AGN Feedback in Galaxy Clusters and Groups

Deep ~500 ks Chandra X-ray image (blue) and Very Large Array 330 MHz radio image (red) superposed with the Hubble Space Telescope visual image of the galaxy cluster MS . The giant X-ray cavities, filled with radio emission, are surrounded by a cocoon shock clearly visible in the Chandra image as an elliptical edge. The box is roughly 800 kpc by 800 kpc.
