Both plots are the FT for the state 𝑥₁ of the filter (6) when it is filtering the input signal 𝑢=𝜇sin(𝑡) for the cases (a) 𝜇=1.0 and (b) 𝜇=5. These graphs show that when 𝜇 is incremented, new component frequency peaks appear in the power spectrum of the filter's response.
