(a) We compute (27) for samples of length 𝑛=100000, 𝛼=1.3, 1<𝛽≤2, and constant step size ℎ=0.01 for 𝛽. We see that (27) is clearly positive when 𝛽 is in a neighborhood of 1.5. (b) We do the same when 𝛼=1.35, but now we cannot conclude clearly the existence of different attractors.
