𝛽	Per capita birth rate of susceptibles.
𝜇	Per capita (natural) mortality rate of the larvae.
𝜈	Per capita (natural) mortality rate of the susceptible and infected larvae.
𝛼	Per capita mortality rate of the infected larvae due to disease.
𝜌	Recovery rate from disease.
𝜋(𝐿)	Per capita transition rate. This is the rate at which the susceptible larva matures.
𝜎	Rate at which the disease is transferred from infected to susceptible class, when the contact between susceptible and infected individuals occurs.
