Modeling and Analysis of Dynamic Systems in Mathematical Biology

Call for Papers

Mathematical biology is an interdisciplinary scientific research field with a wide range of applications in biology, biotechnology, medicine, and so forth. It aims at the mathematical representation, modeling of biological processes, and dynamic analysis, using a variety of applied mathematical techniques and tools. The research on mathematical biology has significant theoretical meaning and application value so it attracts more and more attention in both mathematics and biology in the past decades. The method and topics on dynamic systems in mathematical biology include population dynamics, mathematical epidemiology, evolutionary dynamics, and molecular dynamics.

The present special issue aims at the recent research advances on mathematical biology as well as its application. We cordially invite investigators to contribute their original research articles as well as review articles that will stimulate to interpret and understand the generation, properties, and application of dynamics of the biological systems as well as the related problems. The mathematical techniques not only are devoted to the search for mathematical analysis of the underlying differential dynamic systems but also include new theoretical developments suitable for novel applications of solving real-world problems.
