Recent Trends in Fractional Integral Inequalities and their Applications

Call for Papers

Fractional integral inequalities have proved to be one of the most powerful and far-reaching tools for the development of many branches of pure and applied mathematics. In the last few decades, much significant development in the classical and new inequalities, particularly in analysis, has been witnessed. These inequalities have many applications in numerical quadrature, transform theory, probability, and in statistical problems, but the most useful ones are in establishing uniqueness of solutions in fractional boundary value problems. Further, they also provide upper and lower bounds to the solutions of the above equations. Moreover, the subject is the source of new ideas and techniques that give rise to seemingly elementary but serious and challenging problems.

This special issue is to provide a multidisciplinary forum of discussion in diverse branches not only for mathematicians and statisticians but also for electrical engineers, biologists, economists, psychologists, and sociologists, to name a few, and their applications in which the essentiality of inequalities is highlighted. This issue accepts high quality articles containing original research results and survey articles of exceptional merit. The main objective of this special issue is to highlight the importance of fundamental results and techniques of the theory of fractional integral inequalities and let the readers of this journal know about the possibilities of this branch of mathematics. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Integral inequalities and their applications
  • Integral inequalities for special functions
  • Fractional integral inequalities and their q-analogues
  • Inequalities in mechanics
  • Inequalities in optimization
  • Functional inequalities and applications
  • Integral inequalities involving the fractional integral operators
  • Applications of inequalities for classical and fractional differential equations
