Spreading Dynamics and Its Application

Call for Papers

Spreading phenomena, such as disease spreading, fad development, innovation diffusion, economic crisis spreading, and power cascading failure, widely exist in the real world. Thus, understanding the spreading dynamics is a long-term challenge and has aroused increasingly attention in recent years, especially on the prediction and control measures of many real spreading processes. The effect of various important factors, including network topology, connection weight, and spatial distance, on the spreading processes has been explored. Moreover, these researches have provided novel clues and methods for the investigation of other dynamical behavior, such as network synchronization and network game.

This special issue is focused not only on the theoretical results in spreading dynamics, but also on the analysis and applications of empirical data or other related issues. The authors are invited to submit original papers and review articles.
