Applied Neural Intelligence to Modeling, Control, and Management of Human Systems and Environments

Description

The basics of systems for planning, scheduling, and controlling resources and activities have been the key element for systems to survive and compete. Undoubtedly, humans play a critical role in these activities. This special issue is therefore focused on human-centric systems and environments. In fact, most systems can also be viewed as environments surrounding human beings. There have been some novel solutions proposed over the years for solving the problems in modeling, control, and management of human systems and environments. However, in light of advanced computing systems, advanced artificial neural network approaches continue to be one of the most promising in practical applications. This special issue is intended to provide the details of developing advanced artificial neural network approaches and their applications to modeling, control, and management of human systems and environments for researchers in information management, system engineering, and environment protection, as well as practicing managers/engineers. This special issue features a balance between state-of-the-art research and usually reported applications. This special issue also provides a forum for researchers and practitioners to review and disseminate quality research work on advanced artificial neural network approaches and their applications in the context of modeling, control, and management of human systems and environments and to identify critical issues for further developments. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
