Hard-Wired Dopant Networks and the Prediction of High Transition Temperatures in Ceramic Superconductors

There are large qualitative differences between the phase diagrams of layered ceramic cuprates, such as La_2−𝑥Sr_𝑥CuO₄, and cubic Ba_1−𝑥K_𝑥BiO₃. The former requires a percolative model, but the superconductive properties of the latter can be explained using a traditional BCS continuum model.
