Bosonic Spectral Function and the Electron-Phonon Interaction in HTSC Cuprates

Second derivative data 𝑑 2 𝐼 ( 𝑉 ) / 𝑑 𝑉 2 of the tunnelling spectra on thin films of L a 1 . 8 5 S r 0 . 1 5 C u O 4 are shown along with phonon Raman scattering data on single crystals of LSCO with 2 0 % Sr. The polarization of the incident and scattered light in the Raman spectra is parallel to the C u O 2 planes.
