The defects stabilize at the relative position 𝑝_def on the cylinder axis, where 𝑝_def=0 means the center of the capillary and 𝑝_def=1 the end of it. Here the position of the defect 𝑝_def against the length of the capillary ℎ at different meniscus curvatures 𝑎 is shown.
