The RCC cell lines Caki-1, 786-O, RCC4, and A498 as well as the nonmalignant renal cell line RC-124 were plotted in a two-dimensional coordinate plane defined by the principal components 1 (PC1) and 2 (PC2) analyzing the expression data of all cytokines and chemokines measured by the DNA array (Human Cytokines & Chemokines RT² Profiler PCR Array; Qiagen). Clustering of the malignant cells is indicated by a grey triangle.
