Peripheral cell responses as measured by CD4+CFSElo proliferated cells for each individual with correlation to HLA-DQ genotype. Black boxes represent a response to the peptide with the SI ≥ 3. Gliadin epitopes are denoted as previously reported in the literature to be presented by HLA-DQ2 ( -I gliadin QLQPFPQPELPY, -II gliadin PQPELPYPQPQL, and gliadin PEQPQQSFPEQERP) or HLA-DQ8 ( -gliadin SGQGSFQPSQQNP and -gliadin FPQQPQQPYPQQPQQ with and without deamidation at p1 and p9). Three of the new-onset CD children responding to two or more peptides have the DQ2/2 genotype.
