Artificial Intelligence Techniques for Power Industrial Applications

Call for Papers

Nowadays, almost every discipline of power engineering uses the artificial intelligence tools and techniques. The industries mainly use artificial intelligence (AI) techniques for control, management and diagnosis purposes, wherein neural networks, fuzzy logic, expert systems, and genetic algorithms have been widely used. This special issue invites the submission of high-quality research articles on artificial intelligence techniques for power industrial applications.

The relevant areas for this proposal include all aspects of AI techniques and fuzzy logic applied to power industrial applications including, but not limited to:

  • Industrial power converters and inverters
  • Industrial conventional and special motor drives (control, diagnostics, management and design issues)
  • Other industrial applications such as adjustable speed drives in cement, crusher, paper, steel, welding, cutting, and petroleum industries
  • Wind energy, solar, and hybrid systems
  • Control applications in industrial electronics
  • Industrial power systems—(FACTS devices, power quality control and monitoring, APFC and distributed generation)
  • Industrial automation and process control
  • Power systems maintenance and management

Authors should follow the Advances in Fuzzy Systems manuscript format described at the journal site http://www.hindawi.com/journals/afs/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/ according to the following timetable:
