The energy level scheme. We here show the dependence of the eigenvalues of the Hamiltonian in matter on 𝐸𝑉. Note that we are plotting 2𝐸𝐻_𝑖𝑚, which goes to Δ𝑚²_𝑖1 for low 𝑉𝐸. The left (right) panel corresponds to normal (inverted) mass ordering.
