A high-level schematic of the DAQ system. Each detector uses a low- and a high-gain digitizer channel for a total of 70 channels per crate. Each VME crate has one single-board computer (SBC) that reads out all electronics in its crate, sending the resulting data to ORCA. Data is buffered locally underground and then transferred to the surface. There will be one VME crate per module. The veto electronics will reside only in one of the two crates.
