Diffractive Bremsstrahlung in Hadronic Collisions

Leading order contributions to single diffractive heavy flavor production in gluon-proton (a, b) and quark-proton (c, d) scattering subprocesses in collisions. Diagrams (b, d) emerge due to the presence of soft spectator partons in the proton wave function (the screening gluon couples to every spectator parton besides the active one). Grey effective vertices account for all possible couplings of the incident partons.
