Lepton Pair Čerenkov Radiation Emitted by Tachyonic Neutrinos: Lorentz-Covariant Approach and IceCube Data

The solid and dashed curves show what would be expected for power law for the flux, with  PeV threshold, and two arbitrarily assumed values for the source distance, (dashed curve) and (solid curve). The drop to zero above only occurs for those neutrino flavors having a tachyonic mass consistent with a  PeV threshold.
