A 1.48 0.2 T Halbach magnet array element made of eight N52 rare earth magnets, with cavity in the center, encapsulated between two robust steel or aluminum plates. A collection of these magnets aligned with each other along the -axis provides the required transverse magnetic field for the experiment.
