Recent Trends in Internal Combustion Engines

Call for Papers

Recent trends in internal combustion engines aim to reduce fuel consumption and also lower exhaust gas emissions. The aim of this special issue is to bring all topics and all the scientific/technological approaches in recent trends in internal combustion engines.

We invite investigators to contribute original research articles as well as review articles that will stimulate the continuing efforts to understand new technologies in Internal Combustion Engines (ICEs). Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Advanced combustion (HCCI, PCCI, and SCCI engines)
  • Chemical kinetics
  • Advanced fuel injection and spray development
  • Experimental and modeling studies in ICEs
  • Alternative fuels for ICEs
  • Emissions control systems

Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal’s Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/ame/guidelines/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/submit/journals/ame/rtic/ according to the following timetable:
