Schematic sketch of the corrosion measurement. A standard three-electrode setup is placed in the corrosion cell filled with Hank’s buffered salt solution. The temperature is held at 37°C by a heating bath. By measuring the pH-value CO₂ inlet regulation the pH value of the solution is constantly kept at 7.4.
