Concrete and Structure with Recycled Aggregate
Call for Papers
In recent years, importance and necessity of using the recycled aggregate is recognized, because of the depletion of quality primary aggregates and greater awareness of environmental protection. It is now widely accepted that there is a significant potential for reclaiming and recycling demolished debris for use in value-added applications to maximize economic and environmental benefits. There is increasing demand and interest in aggregates from nontraditional sources such as from industrial byproducts and recycled construction and demolition wastes. The concrete and structure made with recycled aggregate is taken in the broadest possible sense and includes fabrication, mix design method, properties, behavior, performance, and application.
The purpose of this special issue is to summarize the various researches on concrete and structure with recycled aggregate. Authors are invited to submit original research and review articles that relate to recycled aggregate concrete. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
- Mix design method
- Fresh concrete properties
- Mechanical and physical proprieties
- Performance
- Failure mechanism
- Mechanical behavior
- Durability
- Self-compacting concrete with recycled aggregate
- Resistance of adhesion between steel reinforcement and recycled aggregate concrete
- Stress-strain relation
- Reinforced concrete structures with recycled aggregate
- Seismic performance
Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal's Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/amse/guidelines/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/author/submit/journals/amse/csra/ according to the following timetable:
