Solar Energy: Materials, Devices, and Applications
Description
Solar energy system refers primarily to the use of solar radiation for practical applications: a vehicle for the disclosure of research results on materials science and technology related to photovoltaic and photoelectrochemical solar energy conversion. Solar materials science is taken in the broadest possible sense and includes physics, chemistry, optics, fabrication, and analysis for all types of materials. We invite authors to submit original research and review articles that relate to solar technologies. We are interested in articles that explore aspects of energy production, conversion, conservation, systems, technologies, and applications and their impact on the environment and sustainable development. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
- Development in solar cell materials, structure, or system, and so forth
- Development in photoelectrochemical and photochemical materials or devices
- Optical and electrical properties of materials, including light trapping, texturizing, absorption, carrier concentrations, and carrier transportation
- Fundamental studies of solar cell materials, structure, or system, and so forth
- Advances in solar cell structure design, such as solar tracking and concentrating
- Method and process to manufacture the solar cell materials or device
Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal's Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/amse/guidelines/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/ according to the following timetable:
