Structural Dynamics and Stability of Composite Structures
Description
In structural applications, past few decades have seen outstanding advances in the use of composite materials including Functionally Graded Materials (FGM). Most structures, whether they are used in civil, marine, or aerospace engineering, are subjected to dynamic loads during their operation. Therefore, dynamic and stability analysis is receiving much attention in academia and industries. Recent advances in dynamic and stability analysis have led to the development of macro, micro, and nano laminated composites and FGM plates.
We invite researchers to submit original research articles and review articles that deal with the application of dynamic and stability analysis to any discipline, such as structural engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, materials engineering, and electrical engineering. Contributions on fundamental researches as well as industrial applications are welcome.
Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
- Free vibration analysis
- Forced vibration analysis
- Dynamic instability analysis
- Harmonic and transient analysis
- Magnetic-electro-elastic analysis
- Stability analysis
- Dynamic and stability analysis of beams
- Dynamic and stability analysis of plates
- Dynamic and stability analysis of shells
- Analytical modelling
- Computational modelling
