Photocatalytic Materials
Call for Papers
Photocatalytic materials, with purifying water, preventing contamination, antibacterial, deodorizing, and purifying the air functions, generate surface oxidation to eliminate harmful substances such as organic compounds or nearby bacteria when it is exposed to light. Practical application of most photocatalysts has been hindered by the lack of visible absorption and limited photocatalytic activity to a certain degree. Novel photocatalytic materials or special preparation processes are urgently desired to solve these problems. We invite authors to submit original research and review articles that seek to define the optimal process of preparing photocatalysts as well as expand absorption spectrum. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
- Influence of curvature on photocatalysis
- Morphological features of the photocatalytic materials
- Photocatalytic models and physics
- Key surface properties of photocatalytic activity
- Materials processing techniques
- Development and testing of visible-light-activated photocatalystic materials
Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal's Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/amse/guidelines/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/ according to the following timetable:
| Manuscript Due | Friday, 6 January 2012 |
| First Round of Reviews | Friday, 6 April 2012 |
| Publication Date | Friday, 6 July 2012 |
