The Antioxidant Effect of Erythropoietin on Thalassemic  Blood Cells

<table>Effect of Epo on ROS production by H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub>-stimulated normal RBC and platelets. Diluted blood samples were treated with the indicated concentrations of  H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub> for 30 min, then incubated with or without Epo (2 U/ml) for additional 2 hrs, washed and assayed for ROS.
