Patte classification system is used to describe tears of the supraspinatus, infraspinatus, and teres minor tendons in the coronal plane [7]. Stage 1: proximal stump is close to its bony insertion. Stage 2: proximal stump at center of humeral head. Stage 3: proximal stump at level of the glenoid.
