Supplementary data depicts pseudo first rate constants (k’), second order rate constants (k”), and Eyring’s plots for the decarboxylative nitration of α,β-unsaturated aromatic carboxylic acids by ceric ammonium nitrate (CAN) in various Poly Ethylene Glycol (PEG) media such as PEG-200, PEG-300, PEG- 400 and PEG-600. The data are presented at different PEG concentrations in the range (0.50 to 5.00% (V/V).
