Aims and Scope
Advances in Pharmacological Sciences publishes original research on all aspects of experimental and clinical pharmacology. The journal encourages submission of studies which exploit recent genomic, genetic and proteomic advances for the clinical context with the purpose to develop personalized medicine and doses. Studies which develop new markers predictive of pharmacological responses of efficacy and toxicity are of specific interest. The journal scope further includes molecular and cellular pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and all phases of drug development including absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion. Studies of drug interactions and toxicity are encouraged, as are original systems-focused pharmacologic reports, e.g., neuropharmacology, cardiovascular pharmacology, endocrine pharmacology, reproductive pharmacology, gastrointestinal pharmacology, and inflammation/immunopharmacology.
