Expression levels of the various versions of CBD-AglD. Hfx. volcanii cells expressing the various AglD mutants considered in this study were grown to OD550 1.0 and their protein contents were separated on 10% SDS-PAGE. The CBD-AglD content of each strain was subsequently assessed by immunoblot using polyclonal antiCBD antibodies. Antibody binding was detected using HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies and an enhanced chemiluminescence kit.
