A total of 1,661 FSFs were detected by the SUPERFAMILY hidden Markov models [44, 45] in proteins coded by 383 completely sequenced proteomes of eukaryotes (FSF assignments of Lokiarchaeum were added a posteriori to data taken from [46]).
